"A great mother cat "
These 6 kittens were abandoned at our clinic , they were about 4 weeks old and left in a box in our parking lot. We took them in with the intention of finding them homes, they are healthy and appeared to be well taken care of. Two nights later one of our employees was heading home at about 9.00 pm and was met at the door by a very agitated mother cat trying to get IN to the hospital. She was very insistent about coming in so she was let in and with a flick of her tail and a annoyed "meow" she marched around until she found her kittens. She then demanded to be let into their kennel and proceded to to "count" them, wash them and nurse them, the whole time telling us off for "stealing" her kittens. Well of course we let her stay and the whole family has settled in and waiting to go to their new homes anytime now. She gets our vote for " mother of the year"
