
Pacific Northwest native Kim Feringer grew up in Bellingham on Chuckanut Drive. He fished commercially in Alaska and Washington before attending the College of Veterinary Medicine at WSU, graduating in 1983. Kim is primarily involved in small animal medicine and surgery at Nooksack Animal Hospital, with a special interest in the holistic approach to animal health. A falconer for over 30 years, Kim also enjoys flyfishing, skiing, hiking and birdwatching. Through the years he has shared his home with numerous hawks and falcons, cats, dogs, horses, and llamas. Kim and his wife Stacey live in the foothills of Everson with 2 dogs, 2 cats and 1 horse.
